Keith Gearing launches new enterprise on PEI

 

Feast Dinner Theatres are now offering their customers the option to purchase their tickets online for the first time because of a partnership with new PEI start-up company “Ticket Wizard Inc.” The Feast Dinner Theatres organizers say that they are happy to offer a new way to bring customers to their shows. Keith Gearing, owner of Ticket Wizard, has recently moved to PEI and is looking forward to developing a business that can support small venues in their ticketing needs.

 

As the Manager of Ticketing Operations and Customer Relation for two of Canada’s premier venues with the corporation of Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall, Keith recognized an unhealthy imbalance in event ticketing. He says that Ticket Wizard was built to provide full functionality at a fraction of the cost—to return control to the owners and to help them generate additional revenue through ticketing. “I believe that ticketing providers should be supporting partners to the venues they represent—not cost heavy profit drains.”

The producer of the dinner theatres, Don Groom, says “it’s been an easy transition and sales are up! I’m very happy with the service that Keith and his team are providing.”
